Hands that were in Clay are now in paper, paint and textiles...
Formerly a studio member at Muddy Waters Clay Center, Grand Forks, ND since 2015, when I focused on sculptural and functional ceramics. My sculptures werere mainly women, created in response to culture and often literature. Wheel thrown pieces were often altered to add a bit of whimsy. For me, Hands in Clay was primal . . .and a love story.
As of January 1, 2026, the shift is complete and away from clay work. I now focus on watercolor painting, collage (textile, paper, my watercolors, ) and photography. It's still a love story, sigh.
