I am very pleased that two of my pieces have been accepted for the exhibition entitled "From the Earth" at the Kavanagh Gallery at Fine Line Creative Arts Center in St. Charles, Illinois.

The show looks at raw materials taken from the earth and transformed into functional or decorative art. Art work submitted had to be created from clay, wood or metal or any combination of the three.

The two pieces I will have in the show are the sculpture, "She said, 'Pray, not prey.'" and a shino jar. Both were fired to cone 9/10 gas reduction.

 

Exhibition dates are June 29 to August 9, 2023. The Fine Line Creative Arts Center is located in the Fox River Vallery, approximately one hour west of Chicago, Illinois.
