I submitted my piece entitled "weight of the world." And I am thrilled that it was accepted to be in this wonderful and important art show! This piece was created at the end of 2020– a time that felt very heavy—and was part of my art show in 2022. She was part of a series of pieces called “Chaos in one’s mind can feel so heavy; could you lift it off like some onerous crown?” I had always kept her at home, one of my private pieces, but it’s time for her to come out.
